Oregon Wellness Network has assembled a collection of free resources from local and national partners. These resources complement the health and wellness programs we offer. Everyone is invited to use and share the videos and content we have compiled. How can these resources help you? They can:

Aging and Disability Resource Connection of Oregon (ADRC)
Connect to your local ADRC to learn about and find resources and services in your area.

Latino Network
A Latino-led education organization with a mission to positively transform the lives of Latino youth, families, and communities. The Latino Network offers several programs ranging from advocacy and leadership to youth empowerment and violence prevention.

Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), Aging & People with Disabilities (APD)
Find information about Area Agencies on Aging, adult foster homes, behavioral support services, long-term facilities and nurses, HomeCare and personal support workers, licensing, and Oregon Money Management Program.

Oregon Health Authority (OHA)
OHA is at the forefront of lower and containing health care costs, improving quality, and increasing access to health care to improve the lifelong health of Oregonians. Some of the key programs and services offered through the health department are the Oregon Health Plan, licenses and certificates, the Oregon Health Policy Boards, and statewide public health.

Oregon Office of Disability and Health (OODH)
The Oregon Office on Disability and Health works to provide health promotion programs and content directly to the community, as well as partner with public health organizations across the state to improve quality of life for Oregonians with disabilities.

Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH)
The mission of the Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) is to improve the quality, availability, and accessibility of health care for rural Oregonians.

Oregon State University Extension Service, Walk with Ease
A simple fitness program free to all Oregonians.

American Diabetes Association (ADA)

Alzheimer’s Association

Arthritis Foundation
As the nation’s #1 cause of disability, arthritis affects nearly 60 million adults and 300,000 children. Over 100 types of arthritis and related conditions damage the joints and often other organs.

CDC is the nation’s leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public’s health.

National Council on Aging (NCOA)
NCOA was the first national voice for older adults. The NCOA vision is a just and caring society in which each person, as they age, lives with dignity, purpose and security, and the improvement of the lives of millions of older adults, especially those who are struggling.

National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP)
Information about National DPP for people at risk for type 2 diabetes, healthcare professionals, lifestyle programs and coaches, and employers and insurers.

National Institute on Aging (NIA)
Information on various health topics from NIA, one of the 27 Institutes and Centers of NIH, which leads the federal government in conducting and supporting research on aging and the health and well-being of older people.

SAGE National Resource Center on LGBTQ + Elders
The National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging is the country’s first and only technical assistance resource center focused on improving the quality of services and supports offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender older adults, their families and caregivers.

Self-Management Resource Center (SMRC)
SMRC’s self-management programs help people and their caregivers control symptoms, better manage health challenges, and lead fuller lives. SMRC programs are a better way to manage chronic disease and are offered throughout Oregon by OWN.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
The mission of HHS is to enhance the health and well-being of all Americans, by providing for effective health and human services, fostering sound, sustained advances in the sciences underlying medicine, public health, and social services. The Department of HHS sets guidelines and recommendations for healthy living.
