About

NWSDS and Oregon Wellness Network are proud to announce a no-cost Cancer Thriving and Surviving leader training, a SMRC Evidence-Based Self-Management Program originally developed at Stanford University. These classes will prepare individuals to facilitate an evidence-based classes in Cancer Survivorship.

The registration deadline is November 24, 2024.

Once we receive your application we will send you a zoom link with instructions the week before class starts.

Requirements

  • Attend all sessions (or make-up sessions) to graduate
  • Have access to stable, high speed internet with a camera and microphone (cameras must be turned on during sessions)
  • Use a computer or laptop (no mobile devices or telephone participation)
  • Have good sound quality
  • Be proficient in how to use your equipment

Additional Info

  • Class offerings include the most current manuals and textbooks.
  • There may be homework assignments required before and during the training.
