About
Oregon Wellness Network provides Cancer Thriving and Surviving leader training, a SMRC Evidence-Based Self-Management Program originally developed at Stanford University. These classes will prepare individuals to facilitate an evidence-based classes in Cancer Survivorship.
Requirements
Leaders will be expected to conduct at least one 6-week series within 6 months of completing this leader training and 2 series each year.
In addition, participants must:
- Attend all sessions (or make-up sessions) to graduate
- Have access to stable, high speed internet with a camera and microphone (cameras must be turned on during sessions)
- Use a computer or laptop (no mobile devices or telephone participation)
- Have good sound quality
- Be proficient in how to use your equipment
Prerequisites
CTS Leader Training is available to individuals who have completed the 2020 Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) Leader Training or update.
Additional Info
- Class offerings include the most current manuals and textbooks.
- Prep work and practice teach are required during training.
